Complex Wound Care
This program is designed for residents recovering from serious wound complications or wound-related surgery. We offer individualized wound care (including wound vac dressing, ultrasound, shortwave diathermy and electrical stimulation) as well as comprehensive wound management. Some of our services may include: the development of a interdisciplinary care plan by a dedicated ostomy nurse that addresses nursing, dietary and rehabilitation treatment regimes; specialized bedding; and post-surgical recovery. Our goals are to focus on the health of our residents, to prevent wound-related complications, and to provide cost-effective access to quality wound care.
